Jemma Morris

Jemma and I set out on a couple adventures in San Francisco. We found some really awesome spots and also survived a fire while shooting. It wasn't a huge fire but we definitely had to quickly get off the roof of her apartment building cause it started getting super smokey. Can't wait to shoot with her again! Here's a quick little photo series of our adventure through the city.

DJ Snake

I really enjoy shooting DJ Snake's shows. This time around I was asked to shoot both of his shows in San Francisco. He was playing The Finger Lickin' show at Fort Mason and then he played the Finger Lickin' After Party show at The Regency Ballroom. It was awesome to see how many people came out to Fort Mason. The show was sold out and the amount of energy there was unreal! I can't wait to work with him again!

LA Trip

Toni and I set out on a quick shoot in Newport Beach before we went to Disneyland to meet up with some friends. It was really funny how many people were trying to photo bomb during the shoot. Overall, the shoot was laid back and fun and I can wait to shoot with her again!

Angela Noriega

Angela was super rad to shoot with. We clicked together really fast which made the shoot laid back & fun. She usually does commercial work for Je Model but we went for a different approach from her regular work. We met up in SF for a quick shoot before the sunset and then met up the following week for another shoot in a loft. I can't wait to shoot with her again.

Unplugged Magazine

I've been working with a magazine called Unplugged for a little over a year now. They are based in Sacramento, California with the focus of covering music. Each issue Unplugged finds one band that hasn't been heard of and presents them a chance to be on the cover and a story inside about them as well as a Q&A section. I really like the fact that they work hard to find great bands to feature in each of the issues. It always gives me a new band to listen too which is a plus. The magazines have plenty of interesting articles to read. So if you're into reading magazines and you love music, definitely check them out.

Also, big thanks to Steven for letting me be apart of the team and providing great opportunities!

Check out their website for other content.

Here are a few covers I shot for them over the past year. Just click on anyone you want and it'll direct you to the issue you chose.

Alegion

The shoot with Alegion was by far one of the most interesting I have done. The location that we shot at had a huge old conveyer belt that I scouted a few months prior. Unfortunately it was getting torn down when we showed up but it gave it a completely different look than I planned. The shoot got weird really quick. There were two workers there who could barely speak english that were cutting huge pieces of metal with huge industrial blow torches. Then a security guard came along and I expected him to ask us to leave but he ended up being super cool and watched after us during the shoot. He was totally fine with us shooting there and he even offered us props to use. The location was pretty gross in general because before they started terring things down it was a home to a lot of homeless people. There was tons of  hyperdermic needles everywhere and the list goes on with nasty things. I felt like i needed to burn my shoes after the shoot. Overall it was a fun shoot and the clouds and sunset worked in my favor during the shoot which I was really happy about.

Go check out the band, they have new music coming soon!

Jennyboa

During my last trip to LA, Jenny and I set out to the beach to do a quick shoot. I was really stoked with the results we got cause we didn't really have much of a plan besides catch up and shoot. Spontaneous shoots are always fun when they work out in your favor.

Photo Series

Below is the first photo I am releasing which is apart of a series that I am currently working on. Once completed it will be made into a book which I plan on releasing in the near future. The series will be shot without photo-retouching and will only contain slight color correction.

I'd like to thank Alyssa for being such a great friend and for letting me crash on her couch during my LA trip back in August. If her and I had never shot that night this whole series would of never existed.

Accidents sometimes can create and inspire ways of doing things.

I will be posting more of the series soon.
